To say that petruchios profound language and and insulting behaviour is definitely not fair and completly not comparable to Kate’s individualality just because she’s strong minded and has no desire to be the property of a man. Kate’s society from the play can definetly be described as sexist and even can be described as misodunistic, in the play many times men describe women as property ad useless when he says “Woman are made to bear, and so are you.” This insinuates that women are too be owned this can mean a vairiaty of things like she should stop being indipendent and she should stop”thinking she’s special” and that she should start to conform in her present society but ultimately from the many meanings but ultimately we can gather that that particular passage of speech was sexist as well as misodunistic
